Cristiano Menegazzo
Cristiano Menegazzo graduated from the Conservatory of Frosinone (Italy) in 2011 and then started working as a freelancer with the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, under world-renowned conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Valery Gergiev, Daniel Harding, and Kirill Petrenko. In 2014, he received his master's degree from the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music under the direction of Nick Woud, Mark Braafhart, and Gustavo Gimeno. During those studies, he joined the Italian Youth Orchestra, the European Union Youth Orchestra, and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester where he played under the direction of Riccardo Muti, Christoph Eschenbach, Herbert Blomstedt, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Krzysztof Urbański and Gianandrea Noseda, among others. Meanwhile, he also collaborated with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Orchestra del Teatro dell'opera di Roma, Opera di Firenze, and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Since 2019, Cristiano Menegazzo has been percussionist in the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
