Julita Fasseva

Bulgarian-German double bassist Julita Fasseva obtained her degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt with Günter Klaus.

She has played with, among others, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, the Rundfunkorchester des Südwestfunks, the orchestra of the Frankfurt am Main Opera, the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the Luzerner Symphonieorchester, the Ictus Ensemble, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Les Dissonances in Paris. Since 1999, she has been playing with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. Together with her husband Dimitri Mestdag, she organizes the chamber music festival Arbanassi Summer Music in Bulgaria.
