Rolf Verbeek

Dries De Win studied Visual Arts (Sculpture) at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and, in addition to his training, focused entirely on visual theatre. In Ghent, he founded music theatre collective Krakatau (2005-2013) and in Antwerp theaterkabinet Lilith (2007-2015). Since 2010, he has been active at VRT as voice and puppeteer in, among others, Kaatje. He has been a regular at theatre FroeFroe in Antwerp as an actor and puppeteer since 2012, where he created the digital theatre production MEKBET in 2020, his debut as a creator, writer and director. This was later followed by KLEIN EPOS (2022) at theatre FroeFroe. Meanwhile, he worked with FC Bergman/Toneelhuis, Laika, Cie Lodewijk/Louis, Beeldensmederij De Maan, Behoud de Begeerte, Ultima Thule, MartHa!tentatief, Titus de Voogdt, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Suzanne Grotenhuis, Hans op de Beeck, Stef Lernous (Abattoir Fermé), Tamino, Ramy Moharam Fouad and Kris Verdonck, among others. He also does voice work for radio, television and film, realises his own theatre and multimedia projects and gives acting coaching.
