Jaroslaw Mroz
Jaroslaw Mroz began his musical education at the age of seven by first playing the cello, switching to double bass a few years later. After obtaining his master's degree at the Krakow Academy of Music, he completed postgraduate studies in London at Trinity College of Music and graduated cum laude from the Royal Academy of Music in 2006.
Already during his studies, he began an exciting musical career with various British and international orchestras including Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, BBC Concert Orchestra, The Halle, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, European Union Chamber Orchestra, Teatro Municipal Santiago de Chile and Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, Jaroslaw became the second solo bassist with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, where he shares and enriches his versatile experience with fantastic musicians and colleagues. In addition, he continues his career as a guest musician in leading European orchestras, and can also be regularly seen in chamber music concerts.
