Minori Yamato

Minori Yamato started playing the violin at the age of five. In 2016, she won third prize in the national classical music competition in Japan. Between 2017 and 2022, she studied violin at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. In 2020, she won third prize at the Concours International Léopold Bellan with her Kiyora quartet. From September 2020 to June 2021, she was part of the orchestral academies of La Monnaie and the Belgian National Orchestra. Since September 2022, she has played with the first violins of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
