Sol Gabetta and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France

Hilary Hahn must unfortunately withdraw from her scheduled October performances with l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, and thus the concert at the Queen Elisabeth Hall on Monday 21 October 2024. Earlier this summer, Hahn suffered from a double pinched nerve; as part of her treatment, her medical team advised her not to perform. Although Hahn's condition is steadily improving and she is expected to recover soon, she has not yet been cleared to resume her performances. 

Performing in her place will be the Argentinian Sol Gabetta, one of the greatest cellists of our time. Together with l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, she will perform Lalo's moving Cello Concerto. Sol Gabetta, known for her musicality and impressive technique, is a welcome guest at the Golden Hall and last season opened the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra's concert season with great success. A unique opportunity to hear live one of the greatest cellists of our time.
