Did you know that Flemish brass bands are among the world's best? Gavin Higgins' exciting Concerto for Brass Band and Orchestra will be heard on 31 January, for which the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra will share the stage with the renowned Festival Brass Band.
On the occasion of that concert, Steven Verhaert, solo trumpeter of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and leading face in the Flemish brass band landscape, will talk about these different orchestra types and take us into the world of brass bands.
